Hot Dogs with a Special Topping

A hot dog can be not only tasty, but also healthy. It all depends on the ingredients that are used. Steps

1. Remove the upper damaged or dirty leaves from cabbage. Cut the cabbage into thin strips. It is convenient to use special shredder or food processor with paddle-slicer for this purpose.

2. Press shredded cabbage with your hands lightly for it to give the juice. Wash a sweet apple, peel it, cut out the core with seeds. Chop the apple on a small grater, add it to the cabbage.

3. Fry cumin seeds on a dry pan for a minute to let the spices open up their aroma.

4. Mix toasted cumin and sugar and pound them in a mortar or a mill.

5. Sprinkle cabbage-apple mixture with the obtained the fragrant mass.

6. Pour cider vinegar and half the olive oil in the filling for hot dogs, mix all the ingredients.

7. Put the stuffing aside to steep. And, meanwhile, peel sausages of the shell and saute them until golden brown in the remaining olive oil. Also you can use a grill for this purpose.

8. Then cut them along not fully. Gently unwrap them like a book, and fry until golden brown in a pan with the remaining oil.

9. Grease the toasted buns with spicy mustard or another favorite sauce.

10. Put a few spoonfuls of the cabbage and apple filling in each bun.

11. Now it is a turn for the most important ingredient. Put the toasted sausages on the top.

12. Pour the hot dogs with ketchup or spicy tomato sauce. Garnish with leaves of parsley.

13. Serve hot dogs at once, until they are warm and crispy.
