Spicy Raw Crab
Spicy raw crab is a dish that is popular in some parts of the world, particularly in Korea. It typically involves using raw crab meat, marinating it in a spicy sauce, and serving it cold.
To make spicy raw crab, you will need:
- 1-2 fresh crabs
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Clean the crabs thoroughly, removing any shells or debris.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully crack the shells and remove the meat from the crabs.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the gochujang, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix well to create a smooth sauce.
- Add the crab meat to the sauce and toss gently to coat.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, garnish with sliced green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
