Apple Chicken Thighs

Chicken thighs with apples and cranberries can become a festive dish and are perfectly suitable for a family dinner. Thanks to the apples and cranberries meat becomes very flavorful and juicy. A marinade of honey and soy sauce forms a browned crispy crust on the chicken, making it even more tasty and appetizing. For this recipe you can prepare chicken drumsticks or wings, it will be no less tasty and fragrant.

Steps

  • 1. Prepare the marinade for meat. In a deep bowl mix soy sauce and sunflower oil. Add liquid honey, lime, floral or any other not sugared honey is suitable. Add black pepper and seasoning for chicken. Mix the marinade until smooth.
  • 2. Wash chicken thighs, dry excess moisture with paper towels and place in a dry bowl or pot. Pour the meat with ready honey marinade.
  • 3. Leave the meat to marinate for 40 minutes. Periodically mix the ingredients for them to better soak in the marinade.
  • 4. Wash apples, cut them into halves and remove the cores with seeds. Cut the fruit into slices. Sprinkle them with lemon juice, this way they will not darkened.

  • 5. Lay a fireproof baking dish with parchment paper. Put the fruit slices in, trying to keep the layer uniform.
  • 6. Put the chicken thighs in the marinade on top of the apples. Pour the ingredients with the remaining honey mixture.
  • 7. Sprinkle the meat with cranberries on the top, it will give the dish a piquant acidity.
  • 8. Put the form in a preheated up to 200 degrees oven on an average level. Bake the thighs with apples, approximately for 45-55 minutes. The cooking time depends on the size of pieces of meat. To test the readiness of the chicken, insert the blade of a knife into it. If the meat has clear juice, it is ready.

  • 9. Decorate the finished dish with parsley and serve it hot.
