
Braised Chicken With Oyster Mushrooms and Beer
Today we will prepare a tasty dish – chicken drumsticks with oyster mushrooms, braised in beer. The meat turns out very juicy and tender, with a pleasant hint of beer. Alcohol evaporates during the cooking process, there is only a slight aftertaste. You can take almost any mushrooms for this recipe. Cultured or wild mushrooms are suitable , they can even be frozen. The ready meat with mushrooms can be served as a separate dish or with a side dish of mashed potatoes.

Steps

1. Wash meat, dry it from water with a napkin. Rub chicken drumsticks with a mixture of salt and spices. You can use ready-made seasoning for chicken or spices separately, for example, hot pepper, paprika or curry. Leave the meat for 20 minutes to marinate and soak with aromas of spices. Pour oil in a deep pan the let it become hot. Gently place the prepared chicken drumsticks in and fry them until golden brown on both sides.

9. Cover the pan with a lid and let the meat simmer with the mushrooms on low heat for 20-25 minutes. If the beer does not cover the meat completely, the chicken can be flipped during cooking to become prepared evenly.
