Chicken Burritos

Burrito is a traditional dish of Mexican cuisine. It is corn or wheat flatbread with a vast of stuffing inside such as mushrooms, meat, chicken, beans and vegetables. Mexican cuisine is very spicy so don’t spare condiments for burrito stuffing.


  • Tortilla
    4 pcs
  • Chicken fillet
    300 g
  • Tomato sauce
    3 tbsp
  • Boiled rice
    4 tbsp
  • Chicken broth
    100 g
  • Cheese
    75 g
  • Onion
    - to taste
  • Garlic
    2 clove
  • Butter
    1 tsp
  • Chili pepper
    0,5 tsp


  • 1. Peel garlic cloves and dice them. Chop onion sprigs into thin rings. Put a piece of butter into saucepan, heat it and add garlic and onion.
  • 2. Fry these ingredients on medium heat for a minute till golden brown. Cut boiled chicken fillet into small pieces and pull it. Add meat to the fried vegetables and season everything with chili pepper.
  • 3. Mix all ingredients and warm them up for 1-2 minutes. Add stodgy tomato paste, spicy one is possible.
  • 4. Mix everything again.
  • 5. Add fluffy boiled rice (sort doesnt matter), pour warm chicken broth.
  • 6. Keep on cooking burrito stuffing on the medium heat. In 3 minutes add hard cheese. Better choose those sorts which can melt well. Mozarella cheese, Cheddar cheese and Gouda cheese will be best of all.
  • 7. Stir all ingredients and remove the frying pan from fire. Place a few spoons of stuffing on the edge of the flatbread.
  • 8. Wrap burrito carefully to make stuffing remain inside.
  • 9. Fry both sides till golden brown in the oiled saucepan. You can use grill frying pan thus burrito will look more appetizing.
  • 10. Serve burrito right after cooking not to make it cool down.
