Ingredients

  • Potato
    300 g
  • Chicken fillet
    200 g
  • Egg
    2 pcs
  • Red onion
    1 pcs
  • Mayonnaise
    200 g
  • Dill
    ½ pcs
  • garlic
    1 clove
  • cheese
    60 g

Steps

  • 1. The main thing in this salad is to fry potatoes correctly. You need to get thin and crispy sticks. That’s why you will need a fine grater like for Korean Carrot Salad. Grate peeled potatoes right with this grater.
  • 2. Rinse potato sticks, drain them well and fry them in small portions until golden brown. Dont season potato with any salt while frying. You can do it only after frying and only with a bit of salt.
  • 3. Boil eggs and chicken fillet. Cool them down and shell the eggs. Dice eggs, chicken meat and cucumbers into small pieces and finely chop a bulb of a red onion.
  • 4. Put all cut ingredients in a bowl, add mayonnaise (leave a bit of it for decoration) and mix the mixture thoroughly, otherwise it will be a bit dry.
  • 5. Heap the mass onto the flat plate and make a little hole on the top right in the center.
  • 6. Strew the sides of your heap with potato sticks to get a solid layer around. The hole in the center remains empty.
  • 7. Finely chop some dill. Leave a bit of the chopped herbs for decoration and put the remaining part in a solid layer in the hole.
  • 8. Finely grate some processed cheese or mash it with a spoon, add a bit of mayonnaise, remaining chopped dill and pressed garlic. Mix all this, form small balls with a wet hands and place them onto the dill layer in the salad hole.
  • 9. Now our salad «Nest grouse» is formed. Such an unusual salad can be a good accompaniment of any meal.
