Beetroot salad with cheese and garlic

Beetroot salad with cheese and garlic - delicious and healthy salad will perfectly suit both everyday menu and holiday one. Additionally you can add minced walnuts or pickled cucumber, they will give a piquant flavour to this dish.

  • Beet

  • Cheese

  • Garlic
    3 clove
  • Mayonnaise
    2-3 tbsp
  • Salt

    - to taste


  • 1. Wash beetroots thoroughly, put them into a saucepan and pour them over with cold water. Cook beetroot for 45-50 minutes until soft. Take vegetables out of the water and cool them down. Then peel and cut them into thin strips.
  • 2. Grate hard cheese on a large grater.

  • 3. Combine cut beetroot and grated cheese in a bowl.
  • 4. Peel garlic cloves and press them. Add them to the mixture.

  • 5. Dress your salad with some mayonnaise. You can replace it with sour cream, natural yoghurt or home-made sauce. Salt and season it with black ground pepper. Add mayonnaise
  • 6. Mix salad to make its ingredients combine.
  • 7. Decorate salad with parsley leaves. Leave it for 30 minutes in the fridge and serve it.
