Honey Mustard Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken drumstick by this recipe are incredibly tasty. The meat is soaked in marinade and becomes especially juicy and fragrant. Thanks to the honey-mustard marinade, a delicious golden crust is formed on the chicken during baking, and the meat acquires a pleasant sweetish and rather sharp note.

  • Chicken drumsticks

  • Soy sauce
    2 tbsp
  • Liquid honey
    2 tbsp
  • Olive oil
    2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice

  • 1. If you use frozen meat, you must first defrost it to the room temperature. Wash chicken drumsticks, if necessary, clean. Let's rub a mixture of salt and spices on the meat.
  • 2. Prepare the marinade. Mix mustard in the grains and liquid honey in a deep bowl.
  • 3. Pour lemon juice, soy sauce and olive oil into the honey mix.
  • 4. Carefully mix the marinade so that all the components are connected together.
  • 5. Pour chicken drumsticks with prepared marinade. Leave them at least for 30 minutes to allow the meat to mute. You can leave the chicken in the marinade for the night, then the drumsticks will turn out especially juicy and fragrant.
  • 6. Shift the chicken legs into a heat resistant mold for baking. Cover meat with marinade. Put twigs of thyme from above.
  • 7. Let's send the mold to the oven heated to 200 degrees. Bake chicken legs until they are prepared for about 30 minutes.
  • 8. Serve the dish immediately after preparation. You can complement the chicken with a salad of fresh vegetables or a garnish of mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
