Jelly on champagne with fresh berries
Maybe you have half a bottle of good champagne that is left in the fridge, sort of. There is a good recipe where you can use such champagne (a little weathered).
I really like this kind of desserts that are prepared easily, the texture of jelly is quite pleasant and sometimes only this dessert can please the spirit. And such a dessert is very good with champagne and berries, and it is not just for some very festive occasions.
It turns out to such a bright taste of champagne and pleasant sour of berries. By the way, you can use all fruits, except pineapple and kiwi as they contain acid which prevents gelatin from doing its work. And also, vegans boldly change gelatin to agar-agar (in the right proportion) and do everything the same way.
Ingredients
-
Champagne300 ml
-
Gelatin6 pcs
-
Strawberry100 g
Steps
-
1. At first, soak gelatin (you need to cut the shits) in a small amount of champagne. Take as much as indicated on the package and counting on your amount of fluid.
-
2. Prepare berries while it is soaking: clean and cut large ones. I trimmed the strawberry tails, making a smooth platform, I'll explain why a little later.
-
3. Now put the saucepan with gelatin on the stove and keep it on low heat until it melts. Do not boil or overheat, just wait until the gelatin disappears and the liquid becomes homogeneous.
-
4. Remove from the stove and fill the rest with cold champagne. Stir and pour into a glass with a spout (you can leave it in the saucepan).
-
5. Accurately pour the liquid almost up to the top on the molds. Here you can use a portioned molds or one large. It does not matter where to fill, it can be silicone molds, glasses, mugs and so on. Next, add the right amount of berries and fruits and add liquid if necessary.
-
6. Berries float to the surface. Since I had a large strawberry (only one entered into the mold), I wanted the berries to stand beautifully in the jelly. For this, I cut off small areas and covered it with a shovel. So the berry was fixed in the desired position horizontally and vertically.
-
7. Put the jelly in this position in the fridge for 3-4 hours, perfectly for the whole night. To remove it - just lower the mold for 5-10 seconds in a cup with hot water and then turn the mold on the plate. Very simple and very tasty!
