Chocolate balls for breakfast
In my childhood, I went crazy with chocolate balls which I ate out of the box without even drinking milk. Sometimes I took them in my pocket and walked away happy. Then I tasted them as breakfast with milk, it was delicious, satisfying, fun.
Now breakfasts have become «more mature», but sometimes you want to remember the past, and if you have children – then it's absolutely great, they will love these balls.
I want you to pay attention that unlike the purchased ones – these balls have a slightly different texture; they are less friable. But they have a big advantage – you know what ingredients are used.
Ingredients
-
Whole wheat flour160 g
-
Carob20-30 g
-
Almond flour20 g
-
Honey75 g
-
Natural yoghurt1 tbsp
-
Protein1 pinch
-
Salt1/2 tsp
Steps
-
1. Combine all the ingredients in the cup. Mix well to make a large homogeneous ball of dough.
-
2. Note that in the ingredients I use not the cocoa, but the carob. In terms of baking, they behave identically, but the carob is much more useful.
-
3. Pinch off small pieces from the prepared dough and roll the balls. It's very cool to attract children, let them also help to make a future breakfast, I think it's fascinating. Put the balls on a baking sheet with parchment.
-
4. Bake them at 175 degrees for 15 minutes. After the first five minutes, I took out the baking sheet and mixed the balls every 3 minutes so that they were evenly baked and not burned.
-
5. Cool prepared balls and fold into a jar. Serve with milk and fresh berries. It will be very tasty and healthy!
