Pancakes with the taste of Earl Gray tea
Today I will tell you the recipe of amazing pancakes with the taste of Earl Gray tea. The tea is used as a flavoring, by the way, and the taste is very good, for lovers of different taste oddities – do it!

Earl grey tea10 g

Whole wheat flour160-180 g

1. First of all, pour milk into the saucepan and add a tea bag (if you like Earl Grey tea as me then take two bags). Heat milk with a tea bag on a stove to the small bubbles and then let it cool down for 10-15 minutes. Important thing is that you may take any other flavoring instead of tea – it can be mint, coffee, cacao, etc.

2. While milk mixture is cooling down, mix all dry ingredients and stir well. But it is important not just to mix with fork for a couple of times, and stir for 1-2 minutes so that all the ingredients are distributed evenly and correctly in the future dough.

3. Now, the milk is cooled down. Wring out the bag well, break the egg and mix. Then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and bring it to homogeneity. The dough should look dense, similar to sour cream. If it is not so, then you may add some tablespoons of the flour one by one.

4. Preheat the frying pan on the medium fire. Lubricate with oil, just a little bit. For this I spread a paper napkin with oil and wipe the bottom only with it. This is quite enough. Pour over a tablespoon and cook until large bubbles appear on the entire surface. Then turn and cook for about a minute.

5. I can say with confidence that these pancakes are my favorite. First of all, they are easy to aromatize as there are hundreds of variants without damage to the consistency of the dough. Secondly, they easily stand for a couple of days in a closed container – is not it great?

6. The texture is very delicate, they are porous, absorb the sauces well and are generally ideal for breakfast and any other ingestion.

7. Try them with chocolate, caramel, honey sauces. It is good to sprinkle fresh berries or pour with the mashed potatoes, you can sprinkle with ground nuts or seeds. In general, it is time to write a book about 100 ways to eat a pancake!
