Today I will tell you how to quickly prepare delicious chicken drumsticks in creamy sauce with vegetables. Meat is very juicy and aromatic due to spices, vegetables and fresh herbs. This recipe will help you to diversify the daily menu and will be relevant on the festive table. Any body parts of a chicken are suitable for cooking. I used shins, but you can also cook chicken wings, thighs or whole legs.

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks

  • Onion
    1 pcs
  • Carrot
    1 pcs
  • Green peas
    50 g
  • Leek
    50 g
  • Processed cheese
    100 g
  • Sour cream
    3 tbsp
  • Salt
    - to taste
  • Vegetable oil
    100 ml
  • Black pepper
    0.5 tsp
  • Parsley
    - to taste
  • Dill
    - to taste



Steps

  • 1. Wash chicken drumsticks and dry from excess moisture. Rub them with a mixture of salt, black pepper and seasoning for chicken. Leave the meat for 30 minutes so that it is marinated and soaked with the aroma of spices.
  • 2. Pour a vegetable oil into a deep non-stick frying pan to heat it. Put the marinated chicken drumsticks in a frying pan with warmed butter and fry them until golden brown.
  • 3. Turn the drumsticks to the other side and fry them for several minutes.
  • 4. Then shift meat into another bowl.
  • 5. Wash, clean and cut vegetables into cubes. Fry them along with the green peas in the remaining vegetable oil until soft.
  • 6. Then add sour cream of medium fat to the vegetables, carefully mix everything.
  • 7. Grind fused cheese on a grater with a small cloth. Add it to the pan with vegetables.
  • 8. Pour 150-200 ml of hot water into the resulting mixture. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients to get a thick and homogeneous sauce with vegetables. Salt it to taste and season with spices.
  • 9. Return fried chicken drumsticks on the frying pan with sour cream sauce. Cover the frying pan with a lid, extinguish meat for 10 minutes.
  • 10. Then turn the pieces of chicken and continue simmering them on low heat for 10-15 minutes so that meat is completely cooked. Decorated finished dish with chopped parsley and dill.
  • 11. Serve hot chicken in a creamy sauce with vegetables as an independent dish or with a garnish of mashed potatoes or crumbly rice.
