We continue the Italian month. Let's talk about perhaps the most famous sauce – Pesto. Exist an incredible variety of it. In fact – it's shredded herbs with olive oil, nuts and other additives. I will tell the most classic version:
1.The sauce is made in a stone mortar, but the blender can perfectly replace it. Pour olive oil, basil, garlic, pine nuts and grated parmesan in the bowl. All ingredients must be well ground into a homogeneous, dense mass.
2.Сhoose consistency for yourself and adjust the ingredients. So do not add everything at once. Use pesto with pasta or as a marinade for meat and fish, for sandwiches. The taste should be piquant, with spicy notes of garlic and basil. Bon Appetite!
