Chicken in mustard sauce with asparagus is a hearty, delicate dish, which many will like. Chicken breast turns rather juicy, in combination with asparagus, the breast turns out even more delicious! Mustard sauce is an addition to this dish, which is prepared very simply. Ingredients

  • Chicken breast

Steps

  • 1. Of course, you first need to prepare chicken breasts. For this, I sprinkle the breasts with pepper and salt (here no other spices are needed, the whole role is given to the sauce) on the cutting board. Then cover with a film and beat it off with a rolling pin (or a special meat hammer). We have several advantages at once. First, the chicken is better and more evenly soaked in salt and pepper –as if we driving them inside. Secondly, the chicken will be cooked faster (because it has become thinner) and evenly (because the layer and the truth becomes one thick).
  • 2. Put finished breast on grill to fry or in frying pan.
  • 3. Put meat away to the side. By the way, do not ever start cutting meat right after the frying pan. All the juices will simply emerge from it, and the meat will become dry. It is better to give a rest for about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Yes, and we have something to do. Prepare the asparagus, either frozen or fresh. It is necessary to put it in salted boiling water for 3-4 minutes. But the secret is – as asparagus should remain crispy and bright green (the same works with any green vegetables), you need to abruptly stop the cooking process. How? Lower the asparagus for a moment into the icy water.
  • 5. Well, it is time to cook mustard sauce. Mix fat cream, mustard and dried parsley in a saucepan. Stir well and put on a slow fire.
  • 6. Boil the sauce until it is reduced in volume and does not become quite thick.
  • 7. Generously water chicken with prepared sauce and serve with asparagus. The taste is very interesting, on one hand is a spicy mustard, on another – creamy texture. You will definitely like it!
