Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo
Fettuccine with sauce is the most delicious national dish of old Europe. Everyone knows that there is no one who understands better in pasta than Italians. This is not surprising, because they are the authors of most recipes. Today we will prepare the famous Fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and shrimps.
Ingredients
-
Fettuccine300 g
-
Parsley15 g
-
Cheese50-100 g
-
Shrimp100 g
-
Butter50 g
-
Cream 20%200 ml
Steps
-
1. The sauce prepares insanely fast; the ingredients are also quite affordable. You can add any cheese to taste, garlic and your favorite herbs. There is no clear composition of the ingredients in the sauce, which is generally an advantage.
-
2. First of all, chop parsley and blue cheese. If you use more hard varieties like Parmesan – use a grater.
-
3. Clean the shrimps from the shells. Again, instead of them you can use other seafood and mushrooms, even chicken.
-
4. Prepare the paste. Of course, use rule 1110!
-
5. Rule 1110 – the Italian rule of cooking pasta is called short 1110. It is easy to remember and it is important to follow – for every 100 g of pasta take 1 l of boiling water and 10 g of salt. Next, follow the recommendations on the package.
-
6. Well, now it is the time to prepare the sauce. Melt butter in a hot frying pan, do not overcook it, otherwise it will begin to darken. Once it has melted, pour in the cream. Stir constantly until the sauce begins to thicken. Add salt and pepper to taste.
-
7. The sauce begins to grasp, but still liquid. Add cheese, herbs. Mix again. Consistency should be the one that it was possible to leave a trace after having spent a shovel.
-
8. At the very end, add the prawns and the pasta a minute later. Mix everything well and serve immediately!
-
9. There is a very creamy-cheesy taste, rich in aromas of herbs and paste itself. It is very tasty and I think it's worth a try at least once!
