Baked Salmon with Potatoes Cream and Garlic Sauce

Today we will bake a steak of salmon in parchment under the cream and garlic sauce. Thanks to the addition of potatoes, we get the main dish and the side dish to it at once. Such a serving dish can be prepared for dinner or served on a festive table.

Steps

  • 1. Clear salmon steak from the peel, wash and dry with paper napkins. Salt and season the fish with a mixture of ground peppers on both sides. Sprinkle salmon with lemon juice.
  • 2. Wash potatoes and clean from peel. Cut the tuber circles in a thickness of 5 mm. In one layer, lay out potatoes circle on a parchment. Salt vegetables to taste and pour with a small amount of olive oil. You can add your favorite potato spices. Put salmon steak on a pot of potatoes.
  • 3. On a stove or in a microwave oven, grind a piece of butter. Pour fish with melted butter to make it succulent.
  • 4. Clean garlic cloves from the peel, wash and finely cut. Evenly distribute chopped garlic over fish.
  • 5. Separate parsley seeds from the stems, rub and finely chop. Sprinkle salmon steak with chopped parsley.
  • 6. Cover our blank with the second half of the parchment. Carefully wrap the edges so that all the juices remain inside during the baking. Transform our blank in a heat-resistant form or on a baking sheet and put it to an oven heated to 180 degrees.
  • 7. Bake the fish in parchment on the middle level of the oven for 20 minutes. During this time, vegetables and salmon will be baked and soft.
  • 8. The finished dish can be served directly in parchment or pre-shifted in serving dishes. Complement salmon steak on a potato pillow with fresh herbs and a slice of lemon. Serve the dish immediately after cooking until it cools down.
