Honey Marinated Mushrooms

Marinated champignons is appetizer, which is always relevant on the table. If it is a picnic, a festive table, a gathering with friends or a family dinner - mushrooms are always popular. Pickled mushrooms in this recipe are very tasty, fragrant and moderately spicy. If you want to make a quicker snack, use hot peppers with the seeds.

Ingredients

  • Champignon
    500 g
  • Vegetable oil
    80 ml
  • Apple cider vinegar
    60 ml
  • Salt
    0.5 tsp
  • Honey
    1 tbsp
  • Garlic
    3 clove
  • Hot pepper
    1 pcs
  • Mixture of dried herbs
    1 tsp



Steps

  • 1. Wash, dry and clean fresh champignons.
  • 2. Put the prepared mushrooms in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Stirring occasionally, fry champignons over medium heat until golden brown.
  • 3. Finely chop peeled garlic cloves and a pod of hot pepper.
  • 4. In a separate pan, mix the ingredients for the marinade: chopped garlic, hot peppers, honey, salt, apple cider vinegar and a mixture of dried herbs.
  • 5. Thoroughly mix the marinade so that all ingredients are combined with each other.
  • 6. Add marinated fried mushrooms.
  • 7. Bring the marinade with mushrooms to a boil, then turn off the fire. Leave the mushrooms in honey marinade at room temperature until cooled down.
  • 8. Store the finished champignons marinated in honey with hot pepper in a glass dish with a sealed lid on the shelf of the fridge. When serving, decorate the snack with fresh herbs.
