Chocolate cupcake in a сup (without cup)

Today I want to bake something with chocolate, something not difficult and quick. And I remembered about the chocolate cake in a cup. I got 12 cupcakes and one small cake which I decorated with chocolate icing and fresh berries (we cannot do without them))))


  • Flour
    300 g
  • Baking powder
    4 tsp
  • Cocoa powder
    40 g
  • Baking soda
    14 tsp
  • Sugar
    180 g
  • Natural yoghurt
    375 g
  • Egg
    2 pcs
  • Butter
    150 g


  • 1. Preheat the oven up to 200C. Grease the coffee cups with butter. Sift flour in a cup, add baking powder, cocoa and soda. Add sugar.
  • 2. Whisk yogurt and egg well in another cup and add it together with softened butter to dry ingredients. Stir, but try not to knead the dough until a smooth mass, it should be a little lumpy.
  • 3. Lay into tins, filling them to 13 and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • 4. Serve the cupcakes with whipped cream sprinkled with cocoa or grated chocolate.
  • 5. Decorate them up to your taste.
  • 6. Fresh berries and crumbled nuts goes ideally with this chocolate cupcakes.
