Spicy Marinated Mussels

If you love seafood and often buy marinated mussels in supermarket, try to prepare them yourself at home. By this recipe marinated mussel turn out even tastier and more fragrantly, besides, you will be sure in a quality of a ready-made product. Marinated mussels perfectly go with a glass of wine or as addition to vegetables. Fragrant and rather spicy seafood can be added to various salads or to use them for snack preparation.

Ingredients

  • Mussels
    300 g
  • Chilli pepper
    1 pcs
  • Lemon juice
    1 tbsp
  • Garlic
    3 clove
  • Olive oil
    75 ml
  • Water
    100 ml
  • White wine vinegar
    1 tbsp
  • Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Ground black pepper
    0.25 tsp
  • Salt
    - pinch
  • Paprika
    0.25 tsp
  • Dill
    - to taste



Steps

  • 1. Defreeze mussels at a room temperature. Boil seafood in a water for 2 minutes, screen mussels.
  • 2. Peel garlic cloves and cut into thin slices. Cut into circles chilli pepper pod. Change to your taste the quantity of hot pepper.
  • 3. Put the cut garlic and chilli pepper on the preheated with olive oil frying pan. Stir and fry on middle heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • 4. Then add salt, sugar and ground seasoning.
  • 5. Afterwards pour water, lemon juice and apple or wine vinegar. Mix.
  • 6. When marinade boils, add blanched seafood to the frying pan.
  • 7. Then add small chopped dill and mix.
  • 8. Let mussels stew in marinade for 2-3 minutes then switch off fire. Leave seafood to cool down to room temperature on a frying pan. Then shift mussels together with marinade in glassware with a cover. In 3-4 hours seafood will be ready to eat.
  • 9. Store marinated mussels in the fridge.
