Watermelon Radish Salad

Juicy water-melon radish with a fresh cucumber and carrots salad will be pleasant to all who love simple, tasty and healthy food. The recipe is simple in preparation, it doesn’t demand any special culinary skills and financial expenses. Useful microelements and vitamins are not only in vegetables, but also in dressing for salad. Thanks to sour cream carotene from carrots is well assimilated. Honey and lemon juice are not less useful and together with salad you receive a cheerfulness charge for the whole day.

  • Watermelon radish

  • Carrot
    1 pcs
  • Cucumber
    1 pcs
  • Sour cream
    3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice
    2 tsp
  • Mustard
    1 tsp
  • Liquid honey
    1 tsp
  • Salt
    - to taste
  • Black pepper
    - to taste
  • Dill
    - to taste


  • 1. Wash, peel and grate on the Korean grater water-melon radish. In the same way grate into straws one carrot. Wash a fresh cucumber and cut off tails. Without peeling a cucumber, cut it into thin long straws.
  • 2. Put together the grated vegetables in deep ware.
  • 3. Mix ingredients.
  • 4. In a separate bowl prepare the dressing for salad. Combine sour cream of average fat content, liquid honey, spicy mustard and lemon juice. Add to taste salt and black ground pepper.
  • 5. Mix the dressing to homogeneous consistence. To taste it is possible to increase or reduce amount of these or those ingredients for dressing.
  • 6. Pour ready dressing over water-melon radish salad, mix and decorate with dill. Serve the ready dish right after preparation until vegetables start to give off a lot of juice.
