Cheese Dumplings with Vanilla Butter Sauce

Today we cook cottage cheese dumplings. Let's also apart make vanilla butter sauce with which we will water ready-made dish from cottage cheese. Thanks to gentle and fragrant sauce, vareniki from a simple and ordinary dish turns into a refined dessert. Vareniki in sweet sauce especially will be pleased with younger generation. Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese
    200 g
  • Egg
    1 pcs
  • Sugar
    2.5 tbsp
  • Whole wheat flour
    4 tbsp
  • Sour cream
    150 ml
  • Butter
    20 g
  • Vanillin
    0.3 tsp
  • Salt
    1 pinch



Steps

  • 1. Place cottage cheese in the blender bowl and at once break to it an egg.
  • 2. Blend all the components until you see that the substance becomes homogeneous, it should not contain cottage cheese grains. Further add to it sugar. For preparation of the dough use a small amount of sugar as ready vareniki will be watered with sweet sauce.
  • 3. Next add sifted flour to the blender bowl.
  • 4. When all components are added, again turn on the blender and mix its content to obtain the sticky dough.
  • 5. Cover a surface with flour and lay out on it soft dough. Also from above powder dough with flour, with hands try to make one whole piece of the dough. Substance has to turn out soft and sticky, but you should not add more flour to it, because it will make vareniki rough. Divide dough into several pieces of the identical size, from each piece form a long strips.
  • 6. Cut the received strips into small pieces of square shape. Put preparations in the freezer for 10 minutes. Slightly frozen vareniki will hold a form well during cooking and also won’t stick to each other.
  • 7. At the same time put a pan with a large amount of water on fire. After boiling salt water, then shift the frozen preparations there. So that vareniki does not stick to a bottom, in 1 minute after a shifting stir them. After products emerge, cook them no more than 2 minutes. Get ready vareniki from liquid by means of a skimmer, shift in a colander so that excess water as much as possible flows down.
  • 8. Meanwhile make vanilla sauce. In deep ware combine the necessary amount of sour cream, butter, sugar and vanillin. Butter has to be soft therefore in advance get it from the fridge. Use no more than the specified amount of vanillin, otherwise sauce will taste bitter. This essence is necessary only for aroma. Combine all components and blend them with the submersible blender or the mixer, to receive homogeneous consistence. Ingredients for sauce: sour cream – 150 ml; butter – 20 g; sugar – 2 tbsps.; vanillin – 0.3 tsps.
  • 9. Fill in with the received sauce warm cheese dumplings. Serve the dish on a table.
