Ukrainian Spicy Marinated Cucumbers

Today we suggest you to prepare cucumbers in spicy marinade. Pieces of cucumbers turn out crackling, moderately spicy, with pleasant taste. A set of seasonings is picked up perfectly, they dilute spiciness of chili and garlic. Such cucumbers will be good in Russian salad vinaigrette and olivie. You can choose any way of cutting so that it’s convenient for you to use in future. It is possible to cut into cubes, stripes or circles. If you have an opportunity to get pickling cucumbers, surely prepare them in the whole look, the result will definitely please you. So, if you the fan of spicy snack, stock up with the necessary products and seasonings and start the process.

Steps

  • 1. From this list of products you will get two half-liter jars. First of all let’s prepare cucumbers. Wash them in cool water and if time allows, allow them to lie in the water for three hours. Then shift cucumbers on a kitchen towel and let them dry.
  • 2. Now cut the prepared cucumbers into circles or cubes.
  • 3. Let's prepare the marinade. For this purpose pour clear water in a pan and put a pan on the high fire. Bring water to boiling. Then enrich our marinade with seasonings, salt, sugar, coriander, mustard seeds, a thyme stem and bay leaves. Boil spicy marinade for three minutes so that all crystals of sugar and salt are dissolved completely.
  • 4. On the last stage let’s add a portion of vinegar, bring marinade again to boiling and remove from fire.

  • 5. In the prepared sterile jars lay down several rings of red chili, a couple of pieces of garlic, several stems of dill and a thyme.
  • 6. Then thoroughly fill in the jar with pieces of cucumbers, above put one more circle of chili and garlic and fill in with marinade.
  • 7. We sterilize the jars without closing for seven minutes, tightly close the lid, put them upside down in a plaid and cool down in this way.
  • 8. After that, let’s send Ukrainian spicy marinated cucumbers for storage to the cool room or a cellar.
