Marinated Green Beans

We suggest you the recipe of marinated green beans. It is possible both to leave to infuse till winter, and to enjoy a dish already in a day. Such green bean will be an excellent component of salads and first dished. Also it will be perfect as an independent snack.

Steps

  • 1. When all necessary ingredients are prepared, it is possible to start process. Take the necessary amount of beans and select only firm pods. Cast away beans on a sieve and wash out carefully under flowing water.
  • 2. Shift wet pods on a towel to absorb excess moistures. Then lay out beans on a plate and cut off tips by means of a knife or kitchen scissors. Very long pods can be cut in halves.
  • 3. Put green beans in a stew pan and fill it with water. Set a stew pan on a cooking surface with the maximum fire. Let’s lower heating in a few minutes after easy boiling. Cook green beans for about 8 minutes, then take out by means of a skimming-dish spoon.
  • 4. In separate ware let’s make marinade. Pour the specified amount of the filtered water, throw salt, sugar, a bay leaf, allspice and pour in the vegetable oil. After boiling let’s cook for about 2 minutes on medium fire. Closer to the end of cooking add garlic cloves, mustard in grains and pour in vinegar.

  • 5. In ready-made marinade shift green beans, boil thoroughly for several minutes and remove from a cooking surface.
  • 6. In advance sterilize jars in the way that is usual for you, to save them from bacteria.
  • 7. Lay green beans together with marinade in jars of the volume, convenient for you, close tightly with the sterilized lids. Do not forget to get bay leaf so that green beans do not become bitter.
  • 8. Turn jars upside down, cover with a towel and take away till complete cooling of glass.

  • 9. If you do not plan to close marinated green beans in jars, put it to the cold place for a day. After that it is possible to serve on a table at once.
