Baked Hake with Potatoes in a Pot

Dishes cooked in clay or ceramic pots for baking are always delicious and useful. There was no exception to heck fillet with potatoes baked in a pot under a cheese cap. In the process of preparation all tastes and flavors of ingredients are mixed together, creating one unique taste. Any sea fish fillet, both white and red, can be used for the recipe. A hake, pollock, cod, zander, salmon or trout is suitable. Baked in a pot fish keeps its juiciness and gentle taste. As a result we get an incredibly fragrant and nutritious dish.

Steps

  • 1. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into bars of medium thickness.
  • 2. On the bottom of a clay or ceramic pot, pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Shift a small amount of potatoes.
  • 3. In each pot add a small piece of butter, 1-2 peas of black allspice and a bay leaf for aroma.
  • 4. Defreeze the fish at room temperature and wash it carefully. Cut hake carcasses on the fillet, remove the fins, insides and bones from the fish. Cut the hake fillet into portion pieces, salt and season with a mixture of seasonings for fish.
  • 5. Put pieces of hake fillet on top of the potatoes.
  • 6. Peel onion and cut into quarter rings.
  • 7. Put the ground onions on the fish fillet.
  • 8. In a separate dish let’s connect chicken egg and medium fat sour cream. Add salt and black ground pepper to taste. Mix until homogeneity by means of a wire whisk.
  • 9. Pour in each pot 2-3 tablespoons of egg-sour cream mixture.
  • 10. Grate hard cheese on a large grater. Place grated cheese on top of the onions, evenly distributing it along the entire perimeter of the baking pot.
  • 11. Cover the ceramic pots with lids, put them on the baking sheet and send them to the oven heated to 180 degrees. Bake hake fillet with potatoes for 40 minutes. During this time all ingredients will be fully prepared, and grated cheese on top will melt and redden.
  • 12. Serve the ready dish in hot form, decorated with fresh greenery. Hake baked with potatoes in the oven can be served directly in a pot or shift the finished dish into portion dishes.
