Homemade Walnut Granola

I offer a variant of treat such as homemade granola with walnuts, raisins and sesame seeds, which can be surely marked as one of the most useful products. Crispy sweet granola is very fragrant and delightful to taste.

Steps

  • 1. If you have nuts in shell, it is time to free them from it. Wash the raisins carefully. Choose oat flakes of quick preparation. For work let’s choose a spacious and convenient bowl. First pour of all flakes, then add raisins, cinnamon and sesame seeds.
  • 2. Nuts must be grinded. A great way is to crush them in a mortar to pieces of the desired size (they can be large, or can be in dust at all).
  • 3. Add ground nuts to the bowl.
  • 4. Mix everything carefully and at the end you get a dry mixture.

  • 5. Heat honey and vegetable oil in a pan until the honey is absolutely melted.
  • 6. Add the received honey mixture to dry ingredients.
  • 7. Again mix with a spoon actively and you should get a sticky, slightly stringy mass.
  • 8. Carefully lay out on the bottom of the form distributing evenly on all surface.

  • 9. Now the last stage is heat treatment at 180 degrees in the oven for no more than 10-12 minutes. Shift crispy, fragrant product into jars, plates, boxes and so on. The delightful granola is ready for tasting.
