A popular spring-summer picnic dish is meat cooked on fire. And until the barbecue season comes, you can please yourself with delicious pork ribs baked in the oven in a sweet glaze. It turns out not only delicious, but also very beautiful.
Ingredients
-
Pork ribs800 g
-
Mustard1 tsp
-
Vegetable oil2 tbsp
-
Apple1 pcs
-
Butter50 g
-
Honey60 g
-
Soy sauce40 ml
-
Tkemali sauce2 tbsp
-
Seasonings- to taste
-
Garlic2 clove
-
Salt- to taste
-
Black pepper- to taste
Steps
-
1. Take pork ribs out of the fridge and leave at room temperature for 30-40 minutes to warm them up a little. Take seasonings for marinade to taste: sweet or smoked paprika, chili, garlic powder, black pepper, a mixture of peppers, etc. Mix the ingredients for the marinade and apply them on the ribs, slightly rubbing the mixture. It is necessary to grease ribs from all sides. Shift the pork ribs into a baking ware, lined with food foil or bakery parchment, and leave for 20 minutes at room temperature to marinate. In the meantime, turn on the oven to warm up to 200-210 ° C. After 20 minutes, cover the ware with ribs with foil and send them to the heated oven for 1 hour.
-
3. Add honey, let it melt a little, and then mash everything to the state of non-homogeneous puree. However, you can make the glaze homogeneous by mashing the apples with a blender. Add to the apple mixture grated garlic, soy sauce, tkemali sauce and black ground pepper (tkemali is a very flavorful and nutrient-dense Georgian plum sauce that is a great healthier alternative to ketchup or cranberry sauce). Mix everything and stew for about 5 minutes on a small fire, without covering the frying pan with a lid.
-
4. Get the ware with pork ribs out of the oven and drain melted fat. Put all glaze on the surface of the ribs with a spoon and distribute it evenly. The glaze is thick enough and will not flow on the baking sheet. Return the baking sheet to the oven, reducing the temperature to 180 ° C, and continue baking for another 45 minutes or until the meat is fully ready.
