  • Potato

  • Smoked pork ribs
    300 g
  • Onion
    1 pcs
  • Carrot
    1 pcs
  • Garlic
    2-3 clove
  • Tomato paste
    2 tbsp
  • Water
    1.5 l
  • Olive oil
    50 ml
  • Allspice
    3 pcs
  • Bay leaf
    1 pcs

Steps

  • 1. Wash smoked pork ribs and cut into portion pieces.
  • 2. Wash the potatoes and peel. Cut the potatoes into large pieces.


  • 3. Transfer smoked pork ribs and cut potatoes to a pan and pour with cold water or broth. Cover the pan with a lid and put it on low fire.
  • 4. Meanwhile, let’s prepare the rest of the vegetables. Wash carrots, peel and cut into quarter rings. Peel onions and cut into small cubes. Cut the peeled garlic cloves into thin slices.


  • 5. Transfer the cut onions, garlic and carrots to a frying pan with pre-heated olive oil. Stir periodically and brown vegetables until soft on low fire.
  • 6. Then add tomato paste to the vegetables. Stir and continue to stew the ingredients on low fire for another 3 minutes.
  • 7. When stewed potatoes with ribs are cooked until semi-readiness, let’s add browned vegetables with tomato paste to the pan. Mix and continue to stew potatoes with smoked ribs until ready.
  • 8. 5 minutes before the end of preparation add salt, seasonings and finely chopped fresh greenery to the stewed potatoes with ribs.
