It is very easy to cook them, it is enough to grate all the products on a grater, stir and fry on a frying pan. Draniki can always be varying by adding new ingredients to the dough. These can be spices, greenery, onions, garlic, pieces of boiled meat or sausage. It is best to serve draniki with sour cream, garlic sauce or ketchup. You can also serve with fresh ripe vegetables, such as tomatoes or cucumbers. Crispy and brown potato pancakes with cheese are incredibly tasty and juicy. Surely try!

  • 1. Wash the potatoes, peel and ground on a large grater. Squeeze the grated potatoes from the excess liquid and transfer to deep bowl.
  • 2. Ground hard cheese on a large grater and add to potatoes.
  • 3. Add one chicken egg to the obtained mixture.
  • 4. Add wheat flour, salt and spices to the dough for draniki. Let's mix.
  • 5. To make the draniki more fragrant, let’s add finely cut parsley. Once again, thoroughly mix the ingredients.
  • 6. On a frying pan with pre-heated vegetable oil let’s put dough with a tablespoon, forming round draniki.
  • 7. Fry potato pancakes with cheese to golden crust on both sides.
  • 8. Place the finished products on a plate lined with a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
  • 9. Serve the ready draniki with cheese in hot form, supplemented with spicy ketchup or sour cream.
