Steps

  • 1. Wash chicken fillet and clean from fat and skins. Cut the meat into small pieces, transfer it into a blender bowl. Add peeled garlic cloves and half of largely cut onion to the fillet. Blend the ingredients into a homogeneous mince.
  • 2. Transfer the ready mince to the bowl and add the rice boiled to the semi-readiness.
  • 3. Break in the mince chicken egg so that the meatballs from chicken mince in tomato sauce keep their form and do not break up during frying. Add salt and seasonings to taste.
  • 4. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, achieving a homogeneous mince consistence for the meatballs.
  • 5. Wet your hands in cold water and form round meatballs of the same size from mince. Coat the blanks in wheat flour.
  • 6. Put the meatballs in a pre-heated with vegetable oil frying pan.
  • 7. Fry the products on the middle heat until golden brown on both sides. Transfer the fried meatballs into deep bowl.
  • 8. Meanwhile, let’s make tomato sauce. Cut the remaining half of onions into small cubes and grate carrots on a large grater.
  • 9. Put crushed onions on a frying pan with pre-heated vegetable oil. Stir periodically and brown vegetables on low fire until golden brown.
  • 10. Then add grated carrots to the onion. Stir and continue to fry the vegetables together for another 3 minutes to make the carrots soft.
  • 11. Then add tomato paste to the vegetables, pour 300 ml of hot water, following the recipe of chicken meatballs in tomato sauce. For aroma let’s add black allspice and bay leaves to the sauce, salt to taste.
  • 12. Put fried meatballs in tomato sauce. Cover the frying pan with a lid and bring the sauce to boiling. Reduce the fire to a minimum and stew the meatballs in tomato sauce on a low fire for 25-30 minutes.
  • 13. Serve ready meatballs in hot form together with tomato sauce, decorated with dill. Bon Appetite!
