I offer you another excellent recipe for baked chicken meat with mushrooms. This simple and quick-to-cook dish is suitable for all occasions of life, from weekdays to holidays. For the recipe, you can use chicken wings, thighs, drumsticks or whole leg. It is better to leave the chicken breast for other dishes, because it is dry and will be less juicy and tender. The recipe of baked chicken with mushrooms is delicious and nourishing. They will probably become the central dish of any table. The meat is very juicy and fragrant, with an appetizing crispy crust. In addition, this recipe does not require an additional side dish. It’s already part of the dish and harmoniously complements it.

  • Chicken thigh
    4 pcs
  • Champignon
    400 g
  • Onion
    2 pcs
  • Garlic
    2 clove
  • Mustard
    1 tsp
  • Olive oil
    30 ml
  • Seasoning for chicken
    0.5 tsp
  • Salt
    - to taste
  • Black pepper
    - to taste


  • 1. Wash chicken thighs and dry from excess moisture with paper towels. Cut pieces of meat along the joint into 2 parts, let's salt it to taste and season with spices. Add mustard to the chicken thighs, mix and leave the meat to marinate for 30 minutes. Thanks to this, chicken baked in the oven with mushrooms will be juicy and tender.
  • 2. Peel onions and cut into quarter rings.
  • 3. Wash fresh champignons and cut into 4 parts.
  • 4. Peel garlic cloves and cut them into thin slices.
  • 5. In a deep frying pan with pre-heated olive oil put cut champignons. Stir periodically and fry mushrooms on medium heat until light golden brown.
  • 6. Then add onions and garlic to the champignons. Mix and continue to fry the ingredients together until the onions are soft.
  • 7. At the end of cooking of mushrooms with onions and garlic let’s salt and season them with black ground pepper.
  • 8. Put fried mushrooms with vegetables in a heat-resistant form for baking. On top put pieces of marinated chicken.
  • 9. Cover the form with a lid or food foil and send it to a heated up to 180 degrees oven. In 40-45 minutes, the chicken with champignons in the oven will be ready. Serve meat with mushrooms in hot form, decorated with greenery. Bon Appetite!
