Gooseberry orange jam

Gooseberry jam with oranges is very tasty dessert and quite easy to prepare, which every hostess will be able to prepare. Gooseberry preserves with the addition of orange is surprisingly tasty, thick and fragrant. Fresh mint and cinnamon give preservation a piquant rich note. The finished jam can be used as a filling for pancakes, buns, pies or croissants. No less delicious dessert with cookies or a slice of fresh bread. This time I used red gooseberries to make jam, but berries of any kind are suitable for the recipe.

  • 4. Transfer the received mixture of gooseberries and orange into a deep pan with a thick bottom.

  • 8. Then remove cinnamon stick and mint stems from the pan, grate the jam through a sieve.
  • 9. Let's get the pan back on the low fire. Stir periodically and continue to cook gooseberry jelly for 15 minutes. Then pour the finished dessert into dry sterilized glass jars, tightly close the jars with lids. Store the ready-made gooseberry jam with orange in a dark cool place.
