Since it is summer, I suggest cooking chicken mince with the favorite seasonal product - garlic arrows. For the recipe, you need to use young garlic arrows that have not yet had time to get hard.   • Chicken fillet
    350 g
  • Garlic arrows
    150 g
  • Soy sauce
    80 ml
  • Water
    100 ml
  • Corn starch
    1 tbsp
  • Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Salt
    0.5 tsp
  • Dry ground ginger
    0.25 tsp
  • Zira
    0.25 tsp
  • Dried basil
    0.25 tsp

Steps

  • 1. Wash chicken fillet, clean from fat and skins and cut meat into large pieces. Then ground chicken fillet into mince using a meat grinder with a large grating.
  • 2. Pour half of the soy sauce into the frying pan. When the sauce boils, add chicken mince to it. Stir constantly and stew chicken mince in soy sauce on a low heat for 2-3 minutes until semi-readiness.


  • 3. Wash garlic arrows, cut off the upper part with buds, they are not used for food. Cut young shoots into segments of 3-4 cm long.
  • 4. When the chicken fillet reaches semi-readiness, let’s add crushed garlic arrows to it. Mix and continue to cook the ingredients together for another 5 minutes.


  • 5. During this time, chicken mince should be fully prepared, and garlic arrows should brown.
  • 6. In deep bowl, combine corn starch, salt, sugar and seasonings, as required by chicken mince recipes.
  • 7. Pour to the obtained mixture 100 ml of cold water and the remaining soy sauce. Thoroughly mix the mixture so that the starch, salt and sugar completely dissolve.
  • 8. Pour the received mixture to chicken mince with garlic arrows. Bring the sauce to a boil.
  • 9. Stir constantly the ingredients and simmer them on a low heat until the sauce thickens. It should completely cover garlic arrows with chicken mince, making them glossy.
