Today let’s prepare delicious and piquant salad: cheese, eggs and fresh dill. This recipe can be included to the category: fast, simple, tasty. The salad is light and budget, it will take a minimum of effort and time to cook it. Such a salad can be served not only for weekday dinner, but also for the festive table. Delicate salad with eggs and cheese is the real basis for culinary creativity in the field of cold snacks. It can be served in crust or waffle tartalets, put on circles of fresh tomato or boiled potatoes, spread on slices of fresh baguette or used as a filling for lavash roll.

  • 1. Boil hard the chicken eggs and cool down in cold water. Peel the boiled eggs from the shell and ground them on a large grater.
  • 2. Grate hard cheese largely. Transfer the salad in the bowl: eggs, cheese (photo attached).
  • 3. Separate dill from the stems, wash, finely chop and add to eggs and cheese salad. Salt the obtained mixture of ingredients to taste and season with black ground pepper. For more flavor, let’s add a garlic clove passed through the press.
  • 4. Dress eggs and cheese salad with a small amount of mayonnaise. If desired, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or homemade sauce.
  • 5. Thoroughly mix the ingredients, following the eggs and cheese salad recipe.
  • 6. Egg and hard cheese salad is ready. For serving, cut fresh tomato into 5 mm thick circles. Put lettuce leaves on each circle of tomato and ready-made egg salad on top. Decorate the finished dish with dill stems and serve immediately after cooking. You can also put this salad with egg and cheese in sandwiches.
