Probably, on the note, each hostess has several recipes for delicious dishes, the preparation of which will not take much time, but at the same time will allow you to beautifully and tastily design the festive table. One of these recipes is roasted chicken and potatoes. The recipe of baked chicken legs is simple and understandable, that’s why it is so popular. Tender and juicy white meat is perfectly combined with fragrant potatoes soaked in chicken juice. Supplement the dish with fresh salad or homemade pickles and you will have a full lunch or dinner ready. For the recipe, you can use any part of the chicken: wings, drumsticks, thighs or whole legs. It is better to leave the chicken breast for other dishes, for example, prepare rolls with hangers and cheese or nuggets in a potato crust.

  • 1. Wash carrots, peel them and cut into quarter rings. Clean garlic cloves from husks, cut them into thin slices. Peel onions and cut into thin semi-rings. Combine the crushed vegetables in a deep bowl.
  • 2. Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut them into slices. Add potatoes to the rest of the vegetables.
  • 3. Pour vegetables with olive oil, salt to taste, season with black ground pepper. Thoroughly mix so that all vegetables are evenly covered with spices and oil.
  • 4. Now let’s prepare meat. Wash chicken drumsticks and dry from excess moisture with paper towels. Season the meat with salt and spices, add mayonnaise and hot adjika sauce, so that the baked chicken with potatoes and carrots becomes fragrant. Thoroughly mix, leave the chicken drumsticks for 30 minutes so that the meat is marinated.
  • 5. Put vegetables in a heat-resistant baking ware. On top let’s put marinated chicken drumsticks. Cover the ware with a lid or food foil, send it to a heated oven up to 200 degrees.
  • 6. After 40-45 minutes, the oven baked chicken legs will be ready.
  • 7. Serve the finished dish in hot form, decorated with fresh dill.
