Chicken Vegetables Roasted in a Bag

Baked chicken with vegetables in a bag in the oven is very tasty, tender and dietary. This dish is a great option for a family lunch or dinner. Cook it simply: cut largely enough all the vegetables, pour them with olive oil, salt, season and transfer them into a baking bag. Then it only remains to add pieces of marinated chicken to the vegetables and wait until everything is ready in the oven. For the recipe, you can use any part of the chicken: wings, drumsticks, thighs or whole leg. Chicken fillet is better to save for other recipes. For example, you can prepare chicken fillet with tomatoes under a cheese cap or fry chicken fillet in onion batter.

Steps

  • 1. Wash chicken thighs, dry from excess moisture with paper towels and cut into halves. Put the meat in deep bowl. Pour chicken thighs with soy sauce, add garlic cloves cut in slices and seasoning for chicken. Thoroughly mix, leave the meat for 30 minutes so that it is marinated.
  • 2. In the meantime, let’s prepare vegetables. Peel onions and carrots, cut into quarter rings, following the easy baked chicken recipe.
  • 3. Wash eggplant and zucchini, cut off the tails and cut vegetables into half rings 1 cm thick.
  • 4. Wash the potatoes, peel them and cut them into half rings 1 cm thick. Wash bell pepper, remove the seed box and cut it into straws.
  • 5. Transfer the crushed vegetables into deep ware, fill the ingredients with a small amount of olive oil. Add salt, black ground pepper and khmeli-suneli seasoning. Mix thoroughly so that all vegetables are covered with oil, salt and spices.
  • 6. Put the vegetables in the baking bag. For convenience, transfer the bag with vegetables on a baking sheet or to a heat-resistant baking form.
  • 7. Over the vegetables let’s put marinated chicken thighs. Tightly tie the baking bag. Send the form with chicken and vegetables to a heated oven up to 200 degrees.
  • 8. After 40-45 minutes, the roasted chicken in the bag with vegetables will be ready. Serve the dish in hot form, decorated with fresh greenery.
