Ham and Cheese Pizza

Today on the agenda is a delicious pizza: ham, cheese, tomatoes and a recipe for a yeast dough. Making such a pizza is not difficult at all: a hearty appetizing dish with a thin air dough and juicy filling will definitely appeal to your loved ones. It can be baked for a picnic, a friendly party or a snack on to go. In addition for a filling it is possible to use bell pepper, onions, pickles, black and green olives, marinated or fried mushrooms. Be sure to try to make pizza with ham and cheese according to this recipe, and you will definitely be satisfied with the amazing taste of this easy homemade pizza. From the indicated number of ingredients, 2 cheese pizzas with a diameter of 28-30 cm are obtained.

  • Whole wheat flour
    350 g
  • Dry fast-acting yeast
    8 g
  • Water
    200 ml
  • Olive oil
    40 ml
  • Sugar
    1 tbsp
  • Salt
    1 tsp
  • Tomato juice
    200 ml
  • Italian herb
    1 tsp
  • Garlic
    2 clove
  • Chicken ham

  • Cheese

Homemade Ham and Cheese Pizza


  • 1. In a separate dish, combine sieved wheat flour and dry fast-acting yeast, mix.
  • 2. In deep bowl, combine warm water and olive oil. Add salt and sugar.
  • 3. In several steps, add the flour mixture into the dough, each time mixing the ingredients until homogeneous consistence.
  • 4. Knead pizza dough for 7-10 minutes so that pizza with ham and cheese becomes soft and fluffy. The finished dough should be soft and elastic and do not stick to the hands.
  • 5. Cover the bowl with a dough with a food wrap or dry towel, leave the dough in a warm place for 30-40 minutes so that it increases in size.
  • 6. Meanwhile, let’s make tomato sauce. In a deep frying pan, combine tomato juice, a mixture of Italian herbs and garlic cloves passed through the press. Stir periodically and cook the tomato sauce on a low heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • 7. Knead a little the finished dough and divide in half. Roll one part of the dough into a circle with a diameter of 28-30 cm.
  • 8. Grease the pizza base with half of the finished tomato sauce.
  • 9. On top lay a ham cut into cubes.
  • 10. Add cherry tomatoes cut into thin circles.
  • 11. Supplement the filling with grated hard cheese.
  • 12. Send the homemade pizza to a heated oven up to 200 degrees. In 10-12 minutes, pizza with ham and cheese, the recipe for which I describe to you, will redden and be ready. In the same way, let’s form and prepare a second pizza using the remaining sauce and filling. Let’s cut the finished pizza into serving pieces and serve it hot.
