I think fried chicken liver with vegetables, the recipe for which I will tell you in detail, will probably appeal to lovers of by-products. According to this recipe, the liver is very tasty and tender. Vegetables help keep by-products juicy and soft, giving the dish a unique aroma. To create this delicious and low-calorie dish, we will need onions, carrots, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes and garlic. If desired, you can always choose a different set of vegetables, the main thing is that they combine well with tomato sauce. The dish should be served hot or independently with a slice of white bread or with your favorite side dish. Various porridge, mashed potatoes or noodles are best suited. Be sure to make other recipes from by-products, for example, tartlets with chicken liver or layered liver cake with champignons and onions.

Sauteed Chicken Livers


  • 1. Let's wash the chicken liver, clean it from skins and fat. Transfer the by-products to a deep plate, add sugar, soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Stir and leave the liver for 20 minutes so that it gets married.
  • 2. After this time, get by-products from the marinade, put the liver pieces in a frying pan with pre-heated olive oil. Stir periodically and fry by-products on medium heat until golden.
  • 3. Peel onions from husks and cut into half rings. Peel garlic cloves and cut into thin slices.
  • 4. When the chicken liver in the frying pan is golden brown, add onions and garlic to it. Mix and continue to fry the ingredients together for another 2-3 minutes.
  • 5. Wash carrots, peel them and cut them into bars. Wash bell pepper and cut into straws.
  • 6. Add crushed carrots, bell pepper and cherry tomatoes cut in half to the chicken liver. Stir and continue cooking chicken liver with vegetables on a low heat for 5 minutes.
  • 7. Then fill the ingredients with a small amount of hot water or broth, 150-200 ml will be enough. Add a spicy tomato sauce. Thanks to it, fried chicken liver and onions will acquire a piquant taste and aroma.
  • 8. Cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer by-products with vegetables on a low heat for 15 minutes. At the end of the preparation, add salt, spices, finely chopped dill and green onions cut into thin rings.
  • 9. Fragrant liver fried with vegetables, the recipe of which I recommend you to repeat, is ready. Serve it hot as the main dish.
