Cauliflower and Mushroom Casserole

  • 1. Wash cauliflower, divide it into small inflorescences, transfer them into a deep pan, fill with boiling water and boil for 5 minutes.
  • 2. Then throw back the blanched cauliflower into the colander and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process. Transfer cauliflower to a heat-resistant baking form greased with vegetable oil.
  • 3. Peel two onions from husks and cut into quarter rings. Put the crushed vegetables in a frying pan with pre-heated vegetable oil. Stir periodically and fry the onions on medium heat until a light golden brown.
  • 4. Wash champignons, first cut them into half, and then cut them into slices. When the onions become soft, add mushrooms and continue to fry the ingredients together, stirring periodically for another 5 minutes.
  • 5. Evenly distribute the champignons fried with onions over blanched cauliflower.
  • 6. In a separate bowl, combine 2 chicken eggs, sour cream and salt. Add spices so that the oven roasted cauliflower with champignons becomes fragrant. Thoroughly mix the ingredients with a wire whisk, achieving a homogeneous consistency.
  • 7. Fill vegetables with mushrooms with sour cream-egg mixture. Grate hard cheese on a large grater and evenly distributed throughout the form.
  • 8. Send the form with the ingredients to a heated oven up to 180 degrees. After 25-30 minutes, cheesy cauliflower with mushrooms, the recipe with photos is attached, will be ready. Decorate the finished dish with finely chopped parsley.
  • 9. Serve ready cauliflower with mushrooms hot as an independent dish.
  • 10. Bon Appetite!
