Ingredients

  • Avocado
    2 pcs
  • Tomato
    1 pcs
  • Red onion
    ½ pcs
  • Garlic
    1 clove
  • Chili pepper
    - to taste
  • Lemon
    ½ pcs
  • Cilantro
    - to taste
  • Parsley
    - to taste
  • Salt
    - to taste

How to Make Guacamole

Steps

  • 1. If the red onion is small, you can use the whole one or replace it with white onion for a softer onion taste. If you do not like too spicy taste, then replace the chili pepper with bell pepper or any other non-hot variety. Lemon can be replaced by lime. Let’s cut the avocado in half, remove the stone, and separate the flesh from the peel. Immediately squeeze the juice of half the lemon onto the avocado.
  • 2. To avocado puree, add finely chopped red onions and chili peppers, garlic cloves, half chopped parsley (or cilantro). Finely chop the tomato and set one tablespoon aside for decoration, and add the rest of the tomato to other guacamole ingredients.
  • 3. Break it all with a hand blender. You can prepare a sauce with a smooth or coarse consistency, all to your taste.
  • 4. Season the sauce with salt to taste, add finely chopped greenery and pieces of tomato, which were set aside earlier. Mix everything. Mexican guacamole sauce is ready. It can be served with Nachos corn chips or with tortillas, or it can be put on a toast.
  • 5. It is better to eat guacamole immediately after cooking, because, even despite the citrus juice, the avocado will eventually begin to change its tender green color and the dish will look not very appetizing.
  • 6. Bon Appetit!
