Fish balls in tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 120g of bread
  • 400g of hake
  • Parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 750ml (3 1/4 cups) of tomato sauce
  • Pepper
  • Basil

METHOD

  1. In a bowl add the bread, hake, parsley, eggs, and salt and combine all well together.
  2. Squeeze the dough well with your hands so as to stick well and compact all the ingredients. Shape into medium-sized meatballs
  3. Add a drizzle of oil to a pan and brown the garlic clove. Add the tomato sauce and dip in the fish balls.
  4. Turn gently to get the cover with the sauce, cover with a lid and cook gently for 30 minutes.
