Red lentils cake


350g (2 cups) decorticated red lentils 3 eggs 200 g yogurt (1 cup) 50ml olive oil 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 50g feta cheese, chopped 50g mozzarella cheese, chopped 2 tbsp dill, chopped 1/2 tsp cumin 1 tsp oregano 1/3 tsp red hot pepper 1/2 tsp salt Sesame seeds


  1. In a bowl add lentils, fill with water and leave it for 2 hours.
  2. Strain the lentils and blend them with eggs, yogurt, and oil. Add in cheese, baking soda, baking powder, oregano, cumin, red pepper, and salt, and mix everything well.
  3. Transfer to the baking pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
