Red lentils cake
INGREDIENTS
350g (2 cups) decorticated red lentils 3 eggs 200 g yogurt (1 cup) 50ml olive oil 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 50g feta cheese, chopped 50g mozzarella cheese, chopped 2 tbsp dill, chopped 1/2 tsp cumin 1 tsp oregano 1/3 tsp red hot pepper 1/2 tsp salt Sesame seeds
METHOD
- In a bowl add lentils, fill with water and leave it for 2 hours.
- Strain the lentils and blend them with eggs, yogurt, and oil. Add in cheese, baking soda, baking powder, oregano, cumin, red pepper, and salt, and mix everything well.
- Transfer to the baking pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
