Homemade magnum

INGREDIENTS

  • 60g (1/4 cup) of sugar
  • 20g (1/4 cup) of corn starch
  • 500ml (2 cups) of milk
  • 10g (3/4 tbsp) of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 125g (1/2 cup) of vanilla yogurt
  • 100g of melted chocolate
  • Chopped hazelnuts

METHOD

  1. In a small bowl mix the sugar with corn starch.
  2. Pour the milk into the saucepan and add the corn starch mixture. Add the vanilla sugar and egg yolk and mix everything.
  3. Transfer the saucepan to the stove and bring the mixture to a boil stirring occasionally. Remove from the stove and let it cool.
  4. After the mixture is completely cooled pour the vanilla yogurt into it and mix.
  5. Divide obtained mixture between popsicle molds and insert a popsicle stick into each mold. Freeze at least for 5 hours or overnight.
  6. Melt chocolate and mix with chopped hazelnuts. Pour melted chocolate into a glass.
  7. Dip a popsicle into chocolate, then let excess drip off back into the glass. Repeat with the remaining popsicles. Store in a freezer.
