Chocolate pound cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 eggs
  • 160g (1 cup) of sugar
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • 220ml (1 cup) of milk
  • 250g (2 cups) flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • 200g chocolate chips
  • 100ml cream

METHOD

  1. Beat eggs with sugar, and add butter and vanilla extract. Sift in flour and baking powder, and add milk. Mix everything well.
  2. Transfer half of the prepared mixture into the baking pan, top with a chocolate bar, and top with another half of the mixture.
  3. Bake at 190°C (370°F) for 55 minutes. Top with prepared ganache.
