Mini corn dogs
INGREDIENTS
200g mini hot dogs 1 large egg 60g (½ cup) all-purpose flour 60g (½ cup) cornstarch 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp granulated sugar 110ml (½ cup) whole milk a pinch salt a pinch of black pepper Flour, for coating Oil, for frying
METHOD
- In a large mixing bowl mix the egg, flour, cornstarch, baking powder, granulated sugar, milk, salt, and pepper and mix until combined.
- Dip each mini hot dog on a small skewer and coat with flour, then dip in the batter and deep fry them for about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve them while still warm and enjoy.
