Shamsi Biryani Ingredients :

00:52- Preparation of the Meat

  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1-inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Black Cardamoms
  • 3 Onions (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Kg Mutton
  • 250ml Water
  • Salt (as required)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 5 Green Chillies (slit)
  • Fresh Mint Leaves

04:13- Preparation of Rice

  • 2-3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1-inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 2 Black Cardamoms
  • 8-10 Black Peppercorns
  • 3 Onions (sliced)
  • 6 cups Water
  • 3 cups Basmati Rice (soaked in water)
  • Salt (as required)
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • Fresh Cream

08:50- For Garnish

  • Fried Onions
  • Mint Leaves
  • Coriander Leaves
