Apple puff pastry pockets

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 puff pastry roll
  • 1 apple
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • cinnamon powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Powdered sugar

METHOD

  1. Cut a sheet of puff pastry into several circles. Mix
  2. brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Peel and cut an apple into wedges.
  4. Coat each apple wedge with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place each segment in a circle of puff pastry.
  5. Fold and close, sealing the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (356°F). Decorate with powdered sugar.
