Apple puff pastry pockets
INGREDIENTS
- 1 puff pastry roll
- 1 apple
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- cinnamon powder
- 1 egg yolk
- Powdered sugar
METHOD
- Cut a sheet of puff pastry into several circles. Mix
- brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Peel and cut an apple into wedges.
- Coat each apple wedge with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place each segment in a circle of puff pastry.
- Fold and close, sealing the edges with a fork.
- Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (356°F). Decorate with powdered sugar.
