Mini focaccias in a pan
INGREDIENTS
400g (2 ½ cups) of all-purpose flour; 10g (2 ¼ tsp) baking powder; 1 tsp salt; 250ml (1 cup) lukewarm milk; 50ml (3 tbsp) vegetable oil.
METHOD
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Pour warm milk and vegetable oil into the dry mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then form into a ball, cover and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Roll the dough out into a disk around 2.5 cm (1 inch) thick.
- Cut out 5 cm (2 inches) circles.
- Gather the scraps of the dough and repeat until no dough is left.
- Cook buns in a dry pan, over medium-low heat for 5 minutes covered with a lid, flip and cook under the lid for 2-3 minutes more.
