Watermelon peel jam


  • 600g watermelon peel
  • Lemon zest
  • Lemon juice
  • 200g sugar


  1. Remove the pulp from a slice of watermelon.
  2. Remove the green part of the skin and keep a little of the white of the watermelon with the remaining pulp.
  3. Cut into small pieces and place in a pot. Add lemon zest and juice, sugar, mix very well and let stand for 30 minutes.
  4. Next, cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Blend in the pot until smooth and cook for another 30 minutes. Let cool and pour into small jars.
