Ladyfinger roll


  • 50ml (1/4 cup) of espresso coffee
  • 100ml (1/2 cup) of milk
  • Ladyfingers
  • 250g (1 cup) of mascarpone
  • 100g (3/4 cup) of powdered sugar
  • 4 pasteurized egg yolks
  • Espresso coffee
  • 100g of whipped cream
  • Chocolate chips
  • Cocoa powder


  1. Prepare the mixture for soaking the ladyfingers by mixing the espresso coffee and milk.
  2. Soak each ladyfinger in the mixture and place them in two rows onto cling wrap. Cover them with another sheet of cling wrap and freeze for 2 hours.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the cream by mixing the mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar, egg yolks, espresso coffee, and whipped cream.
  4. After time has elapsed take the ladyfingers out of the freezer and spread the cream and chocolate chips over them.
  5. Roll everything up very slowly and carefully. Decorate with cocoa powder.
