Puff pastry triangles with jam and apple pieces
INGREDIENTS
- 2 apples
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Milk
- Almond slices
- 2 puff pastry rolls
- Apricot jam
- Powdered sugar
METHOD
- Add butter to a skillet. Add an apple, peel, and cut into small pieces. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Let cook for 5 minutes.
- Divide a circular puff pastry into 8 equal parts.
- Add a tablespoon of jam and a tablespoon of the apple mixture.
- Place another circular pastry puff on top. Use your hand to divide the 8 parts well. Cut the 8 pieces again and use your fingers to pinch the edges together.
- Cover the entire puff pastry with milk and decorate with almond slices. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar to serve.
